Rebelle is a poetic, magically- realistic feature film about the 14-year-old girl Komona that , as a war witch, is included in a rebel camp, somewhere in Africa. The love for the 15-year Magician gives color to her life. Actress Rachel Mwanza won a Silver Bear for her role as Komona at the Berlin film festival last spring.
Rebelle is released in Dutch cinemas by distributor Imagine from 23 August.
